The point we’re at

Maybe this is a sad book — and people‭, ‬particularly when thinking about books for children‭, ‬almost always prefer happy books‭, ‬hopeful books‭.‬

We agree‭. ‬Hope is the most important thing in‭ ‬
the world‭. ‬But in order not to lose it for once and for all‭, ‬we must see the world as it is right now‭. So as to change it‭, ‬to fix it‭, ‬to make a plan‭!‬

Conclusion‭: ‬this is only a sad book if everything remains the same‭. ‬If no one bats an eyelid‭, ‬if no one takes a stand‭, ‬if no one‭ ‬decides to change‭.‬
