As we grow up, we come to realise that we’re not alone. There are lots of people – some closer to us, others more distant – who share our lives and form part of our day-to-day. Mums, dads, siblings and cousins, uncles and aunts and grandparents… But also others.

The family of people around us is much bigger and made up of neighbours, teachers, friends… even the man in the fruit shop or the bus driver we see each morning.
